1. Introduction

Vora ("we", "us", or "Vora") is an independent business providing modern HR infrastructure for Roblox communities. Our platform includes activity tracking, staff directory management, form builders, sessions, knowledge resources, workspace automation, an AI assistant, and related tools accessible via vorahr.com.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vora. By creating an account, joining a workspace, or using any part of our platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Service Level Agreement, both of which form part of your agreement with us.

2. Eligibility

To use Vora, you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have explicit and informed consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • You must not be prohibited from accessing our services under the laws of your country of residence.
  • You must provide accurate, truthful, and current information when creating an account or configuring a workspace.
  • You must have the legal authority to represent any Roblox group, Discord server, or community you connect to Vora.
  • You must not hold an account that has been previously suspended or terminated by Vora. Creating alternate accounts to circumvent a suspension is itself a violation of these Terms.

3. Accounts

Vora does not maintain its own username/password system — you sign in by authenticating with Discord and/or Roblox through their official OAuth flows. By connecting an account, you agree to:

  • Keep your Discord and Roblox accounts secure, since anyone with access to them can access your Vora session.
  • Not share login credentials with any other individual.
  • Not misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person or entity.

Vora is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised account access where you have failed to take reasonable steps to protect your credentials.

4. Workspace Ownership & Administration

The user who creates a workspace is its owner unless ownership is formally transferred through Vora-supported functionality. Workspace owners are responsible for:

  • Configuring and maintaining accurate workspace settings.
  • Managing staff roles, permissions, and access levels appropriately.
  • Ensuring all workspace members are authorised to access the data held within the workspace.
  • All activity that occurs within their workspace, including the actions of administrators and staff members they appoint.
  • Handling internal disputes, disciplinary decisions, and community moderation in accordance with Roblox, Discord, and Vora's policies.

Vora does not mediate internal workspace disputes and will not intervene in staff or community decisions except where our platform policies are violated.

5. Acceptable Use

When using Vora, you must not:

  • Violate the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or policies of Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc., or any other connected third-party service.
  • Collect, store, or process personal data without appropriate authority or consent.
  • Upload, transmit, or distribute malicious code, viruses, or disruptive scripts.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Vora systems, infrastructure, or other users' accounts.
  • Circumvent usage limits, abuse automation features, or interfere with platform security or performance.
  • Operate fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or harmful communities.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or reproduce any part of the Vora platform without prior written permission.
  • Scrape, index, or systematically extract data from Vora without authorisation.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to Vora's features or data without explicit written agreement.

Violations of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination without notice.

6. Activity Tracking

Vora processes activity data submitted by connected systems and workspace integrations, including in-game activity logs, session participation records, staff performance data, and related operational information.

Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for:

  • Ensuring they have appropriate authority to collect and process activity data relating to their staff and community members.
  • Informing their members that Vora is used for HR management and that activity may be tracked.
  • Complying with applicable data protection laws in their jurisdiction when collecting and using activity data through Vora.

7. AI Assistant

Where enabled, Vora's AI assistant helps summarise activity, draft communications, and answer workspace questions using the data available in your workspace. AI-generated output can be inaccurate or incomplete, and should be reviewed before you rely on it for disciplinary, staffing, or other consequential decisions.

You must not use the AI assistant to generate content that violates Section 5 (Acceptable Use), and you remain responsible for anything you act on or publish based on its output.

8. Billing & Payments

Vora offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan with expanded limits. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices may change with reasonable advance notice.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from workspace settings; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.

9. Refunds

Payments are generally non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. Where required by applicable consumer protection law, or where we determine a refund is appropriate at our discretion, we may issue one on a case-by-case basis.

10. Intellectual Property

Vora and its original content, features, branding, and platform design are owned by Vora and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms don't grant you any ownership rights in the Service — only a limited, revocable licence to use it in line with these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit to Vora (such as workspace configuration and staff records), and grant us a licence to process it solely to provide the Service to you.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data on Vora, but no system is completely secure. If you discover a vulnerability, please report it to security@vorahr.com rather than exploiting or publicly disclosing it — see Section 5 for what counts as unauthorised access.

12. Termination

You may stop using Vora and disconnect your accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, if you violate these Terms, if required to protect the Service or other users, or if a connected Discord/Roblox account is removed or loses the permissions needed to operate a workspace.

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Data associated with a terminated account will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Privacy

Your use of Vora is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains in detail how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and should be read alongside them.

By using Vora, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

14. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Vora is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure, or that data will always be accurate or complete.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vora and its operators, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Loss of data, revenue, profit, goodwill, or business opportunity.
  • Damages resulting from unauthorised access to or alteration of your account or workspace data.
  • Conduct or content of third parties using the platform.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Vora, its operators, and its employees harmless from any claim, liability, damages, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continuing to use Vora after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
